Competition Focus:
Translate a selected piece of Poem from the Book: “Nature’s All > Notes from an African Village Boy by Dr. Emma Asonye” into accurate, meaningful, and beautifully written Igbo.
The selected poem will be unveiled after the registration period.
The top entry will be featured on the I-HAV Igbo Literacy Project (Omenka App) platform and receive recognition for promoting African languages and storytelling, and receive a winner’s prize of 100,000 naira. Other submissions will receive consolidation Prizes.

Translation submissions: Opens July 1 and Closes July 31, 2025.
Results And Award: Winner will be announced after a thorough revision of the submissions on the August 30, 2025
